Fans got an exclusive look at posters for The Omniscient Reader and Teenage Mercenary, both headed for TV and film adaptations. Adding to the excitement, Tower of God creator SIU hosted his first North American signing event, which was met with overwhelming enthusiasm.

In addition, WEBTOON Entertainment premiered Clevatess, its new animated adaptation co-produced with global streamer ‘Crunchyroll’, and hosted engaging panel talks on the future of webcomics, offering fans a deeper and more immersive experience.

Also, K-Comics World commenced on July 1. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism and Korea Creative Content Agency, the event aims to enhance global awareness of Korean webcomics and foster international exchanges. The exhibition will kick off in Egypt, and travel sequentially to Hungary, Canada, China and Japan throughout the month of July.

With the main theme being Hellbound, one of WEBTOON’s hero titles, the exhibition offers hands-on programs for visitors—including Meet with the Creator sessions, Photo Zones and a Stamp Tour, that are generating great enthusiasm.
