Ohouse, an interior and lifestyle e-commerce platform, grew both its paying user base and GMV using Cookie Oven, the offerwall ad product of NAVER WEBTOON and NAVER SERIES.
Ohouse is a leading interior and lifestyle e-commerce platform that offers a wide range of products, from furniture and home decor to interior design services. It has secured a high level of loyalty among consumers in their 20s and 30s who are looking for more convenient and accessible ways to decorate their homes.
Following a rebrand in Q4 last year to reflect its new vision, Ohouse sought to position itself as a partner that helps people transform their homes easily and conveniently from anywhere, leveraging Cookie Oven, an offerwall advertising product from NAVER WEBTOON and NAVER SERIES.
Case at a Glance
Objective
Acquire paying users and increase GMV
Strategy
Leverage NAVER WEBTOON and NAVER SERIES, which have male and female users aged 25-34 — the core demographic of Ohouse
Differentiator
Offer Cookie Oven's percentage-based rewards based on how much users spend in the Ohouse app
Strategy 1. NAVER WEBTOON & NAVER SERIES, home to core users of Ohouse
NAVER WEBTOON and NAVER SERIES have over 24M MAUs combined, with 40% of users aged 25 to 34 — Ohouse's key demographic — making them the most strategic channels for expanding its paying user base.
Strategy 2. Cookie Oven's percentage-based reward model
Ohouse adopted a Cookie Oven percentage-based reward model, where users who make purchases on the Ohouse app receive a set percentage of their spending in WEBTOON cookies.
As rewards scale with purchase amount, it helps acquire paying users while encouraging upselling, effectively driving total GMV growth. Users can participate multiple times, increasing familiarity with the Cookie Oven × Ohouse campaign.
💡 Why percentage-based works
The higher the purchase amount, the more cookies users earn. The product range spans from small décor items to high-end furniture, enabling the brand to capture a broader set of purchase intent data.

Average order value (KRW)
Once the campaign went live, Cookie Oven users responded enthusiastically. CVR, which initially hovered around 3%, more than tripled to 10%+ as users became more familiar with the campaign. Despite a minimum purchase requirement of KRW 2K, the average order value exceeded KRW 100K.
These results indicate that strong user affinity for the brand and platform drives higher conversion. They also show that Cookie Oven users engaged with the offerwall not merely as an ad, but as a shopping platform to buy items aligned with their lifestyle while earning rewards.
Insights
Impeccable matching of user persona
Users who purchase cookies on NAVER WEBTOON and NAVER SERIES are avid readers with a good understanding of reward systems. Combined with an appealing commerce platform like Ohouse, the percentage-based Cookie Oven campaign became a powerful catalyst.
Reward design as a core strategy
This is a prime example of how effective a percentage-based reward model can be in high-involvement categories such as décor and furniture, when user behavior (purchases) and reward structure are designed together.
Depending on how rewards are designed, an offerwall becomes not just an ad placement but a channel where purchases actually happen.
